To enjoy Buen Viaje is to forge a relationship with the world of agaves, with mother nature, with the origin of the spirit, with true craftsmanship. Glyph bonded immediately with the Buen Viaje team. We brought the brand to life by preserving millenary traditions and using maps and symbolic languages and glyphs. The marketplace was lacking a brand that promoted the roots and ancient culture of this premium drink, unique in its kind. Glyph crafted the brand visual identity and designed a range of communications material across-platforms including a brand book with commissioned illustrations, using a custom-made font to tell the story. The team also developed packaging for limited editions made with wild agaves that took 30 years to mature. Key personalities from the world of art, design, publishing, and gastronomy, collaborated in these designs.

Three successful developments of brand extensions were created: “Casa Buen Viaje” (brand experience bar in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico), "Guardianes del Buen Viaje" (special events), and "Encuentros de Jícara" (tourist events, with the purpose of raising awareness about the environment).
Buen Viaje became the first Mexican brand to obtain the National award of Graphic Arts in the United States, in Latin America, and in Mexico, the three consecutive design awards in the same year.
